I wore my flowy beige colored maxi dress to office yesterday, then again I had to team it up with a velvet shrug. The weather is playing hide and seek. Technically speaking spring is here but winters have not yet taken an exit. If you are like me, who is in love with the summer fashion you know you can’t wait to slip into that pair of shorts.


Winters don’t really excite me in terms of fashion. No doubt, the trench coats, thigh-high boots and colourful scarfs look cozy and gives a smart look. But, I relate more to the boho-chic style. Love dressing up in flowy and lacy dresses and skirts and palazzo pants with bardot and crop tops and the colorful flip flops. Aah! Summers bring a smile to my face. I prefer putting in effort for  my summer look. You too can update your wardrobe with these basic wardrobe must haves and spread the sunshine this summer.

 


 

Indulging in winters normally puts on bulge around my problem areas. And, the winter weight spills over to the summers.

 



Samosas, Aloo paranthas, pizzas, pastas and many more such food items. Gorging mindlessly on these yummy dishes only to find myself later, loathing every bite I took. It just so happens, that I can’t seem to stop myself from gobbling down mouth-watering treats.


So, I have come up with a plan. I have marked my breakfast as strict healthy eating zone. No oily, preserved stuff here. Only healthy preparations. Oats, eggs, daliya and fruits; these are my breakfast options from which I mix and choose, depending on my mood and time. You need to get one thing straight in your head. If not now, sometime in future you will have to abandon your callous eating habits. Why not start early and incorporate them in your normal diet, slowly and steadily.

We are planning an all-girls trip to Goa and scouting for accommodation has been the toughest. The holy trinity of safety, style and budget has put us in a fix; what looks stylish and cool is out of our budget and that which is within our budget is not appealing to our taste.

Imagine staying in an igloo! Cozying up inside a room made with ice. That has to be an amazing experience. Something which you would remember till your last breath. That would be one Icetastic experience’ :)
