Learn How Hetal Singh Got Back The Drive To Work Post Motherhood

Born and brought up in Mumbai, a postgraduate in Marketing. My career way started with sales. This gave me various signboards of executive, manager, key account manager and some signals of managing some of the biggest clients for my employer naukri.com.

The sign then indicated 'RIGHT' and I headed towards the recruitment way at Quadrangle (sister concern of naukri.com) with the Executive Search division. Here, I managed recruitment for clients across industries including Pharmaceuticals, FMCG and Media.

A bit of loving traffic jam in 2011 (my daughter was born), though I decided to work initially,but it was a rocky drive :) This gave a halt to my career for almost 5 years.

My drive started again with SHEROES in September 2015. What more could I have asked for, a flexible work from home option,a suitable profile, multiple projects, fantastic colleagues and an awesome mentor.

SHEROES has got me back in action, the drive in life which became a bit slow and monotonous has now caught 100 speed. Feels like SCHUMACHER!!!

What makes it a smooth drive:
 

• Set your destination right = set proper goals/targets to be achieved each day you start work
   

• Self drive = self motivation. Remember no one is around to watch whether you are working, quality/quantity of work done, dedication to work etc. hence stay motivated always, drive your own FERRARI.
   

• Plan your road = plan your day schedule. Make a note of the tasks to be accomplished during the day. There's no harm in keeping some days light/ taking more breaks :) but at the end of the day it's important that we reach the destination.
   

• Fueling = Stay updated with what's happening at the organisation. In today's digital world one can easily stay updated with their virtual presence. Connect with office colleagues more often.
   

• Ask for directions wherever required = Seek guidance from anyone (colleagues/mentors/team members) required, it's always good to ask for directions/help and reach your destination than getting lost.
   

• Stay alert , read signboards = Identify leads. Any aspect related to your work, eg:'Scanning leads while reading a newspaper in a 'Sales related - Work from home job'
   

• Love Driving = Fall in love with your work, so that no matter how difficult the road is, however bad the weather condition is we will reach our "FINISHING LINE"
