When The Soul Awakens In Pune!
Women, and we know you will all agree, are a mixed bag of feelings, emotions that keep oscillating between the joyous, sad, mad, frustrated, disillusioned, hopeful, upbeat, positive and so much more. These are women from all walks of life, at different ages, from different countries, cultures and communities. What binds us together is our openness to learn, to do better in each of the roles we play and to make life a happy fusion of happiness and success. In short, to #makeitwork.
The recent SHEROES Pune Meet was indeed an eye opener for everyone and at the same time soul-satisfying, to say the least.
SHEROES organized a workshop called ‘The Soul Awakening’ by Ms. Anshul Bafna of Searchlight Foundation for its Pune community, during this Meet. The workshop addressed the core problems that women face in their lives such as ‘How to understand the real problem that we have in our life’, ‘How to handle that problem’, ‘How to handle conflicting emotions and situations and stay calm’, How to handle negativity in people and situations that touch our lives closely’ and more. There were exercises that took the community through each problem and a possible solution, which made life seem a little easier and manageable., at the end of the day.
Ms. Bafna, a highly qualified Spiritual Coach and Healer touched a chord in the women’s heart which was evident from the resounding laughter and applause that poured in during the session. The smiling faces, and even the poignantly emotional faces who experienced sudden outbursts during the highly introspective session, were evidence enough that the Meet had touched the souls of the Pune SHEROES and awakened in them their never-say-die spirit.
After the QnA, the vibrant community headed for a refreshing cuppa to the NCL Venture Centre’s brightly coloured and cosy café.
As is always the case, no one really wanted to leave.
