Questions are being raised about the lack of attention, which the brutal killing of a Hyderabad techie in Kansas has received from the White House.

Srinivas Kuchibhotla was killed as shooter, Adam Purinton, opened fire on him and his colleague Alok Madasani after mistaking them to be from the Middle-East.

The killer shouted “get out of my country” right before shooting them in a bar in Olathe, Kansas. While Kuchibhotla’s colleague survived, he succumbed to his injuries.

A White House spokesman, addressing the fatal shooting, said on Friday any loss of life is tragic but it would be absurd to link the action to President Donald Trump’s rhetoric.

Trump had issued executive orders, which includes a ban on the entry of nationals from seven Muslim-dominated countries, including Syria, Libya, etc. for 90 days.

Spokesman Sean Spicer told reporters it was too early to guess the motive for the incident, in which a man opened fire in a bar, prompting concern that Trump's "America First" stance on immigration and jobs has fueled a climate of intolerance.
