The idea for MommySutra came primarily from my personal experience of looking into multiple places for products related to pregnancy and being cautious about using most of the beauty products while I was expecting. That, coupled with other mom’s experiences during the 9 months and their positive feedback on the idea of getting a box full of healthy and safe goodies once every trimester with pregnancy keepsakes related to the journey, helped convert my idea into a reality.

I’ve always wanted to do something in the baby and kids space and after some research I figured that although mom and baby products are available through various websites in India there is nothing that caters to  ‘getting pampered’ ‘wellness’ ‘healthy, natural products’ for an expecting mom all bundled up together. Celebrating Motherhood with pre-packaged / curated boxes perfectly suited for different phases of the pregnancy making gifting an expectant mom with products for her seemed to be a good problem to solve.
