SHEROES Female Founder Fellowship, with Founders Institute

SHEROES.in in association with Founder Institute announces SHEROES Female Founder Fellowship - a full paid scholarship for the world’s Largest Entrepreneur Training & Startup Launch Program. The program is slated to start on 5th of September, 2015. The scholarship is offered to members of the SHEROES network.

Regarding the Fellowship, the SHEROES.in founder, Sairee Chahal says, “With this, we want to support first time women entrepreneurs who want to take the leap and can benefit from a structured program which in 14 weeks accelerates the process of execution, growth and getting the company up and running. This program has a strong focus on building tech\tech enabled and scalable companies.”

Regarding the fellowship, Siddharth from Founders Institute mentions

“Any woman candidate who applies for the scholarship is eligible for the SHEROES Female Founder Fellowship. The Institute and SHEROES will then select the most extraordinary, qualified applicant for each chapter, and give them the opportunity to enroll in the program for free ($500 value). The recipient of the SHEROES Female Founder Fellowship will be recognized as a female with the utmost potential to become a successful technology entrepreneur, and they will be notified.”

To this, they also add that it is not about providing special treatment. The majority of applicants to the Founder Institute do not get accepted, and this will always be the case as they employ a quantitative Predictive Admissions Test in their application process. This test is specifically designed to identify entrepreneurial personality traits and remove all forms of subjective bias. The program is simply designed to grow the number of female applicants, which will ultimately lead to more female-founded technology companies across the globe.
