I wanted to study biotechnology when I was scouting for colleges, but like every science student, I pursed my engineering in electronics. Half way through I realized, a 9-5 job is not very interesting. After college , I joined a startup called skillhippo.com and developed an interest in graphic design.

While working for startups I got an opportunity to work in every department, be it sales, digital marketing, advertising, design or business development. It was then, when I discovered that I wanted to design. After 2 years of getting trained and working as a designer, I started Lawyered.in.

To be honest, there was a lot expected from me and working on a 10k salary after my engineering was not very acceptable to my parents. It took a while for them to understand entrepreneurship. But, today they are extremely supportive of me leaving my job and going full time with Lawyered.in which as of now is completely bootstrapped!

Entrepreneurship comes with a lot a challenges. But these challenges are rewarding in nature. Right from trying to establish a brand, looking for a product that is market-fit and making people believe in your product. To top all these, there is a risk involved when you don’t know the future, and there is always something or somebody who holds you back. The only way to overcome this is persistence and perseverance. It is definitely not easy, but It is definitely worth all the effort.


The most beautiful thing worth fighting for is the fact that one day, your product is going to simplify the lives of a billion people  

Although, my childhood ambition was to become a chef. I had always loved feeding people, trying out new recipes. My family and friends loved my cooking and I was responsible for all the birthday cakes! I still make sure I cook one meal for the family in a week.

For fun, I like to try out different recipes and cook for my friends and family. I also like to read fiction and my favorites are Ken Follett and Jeffrey Archer.”
