Chandigarh & Pune Wowed Us At SHEROES Community Meet 16’
This past week SHEROES Community Meet, Chandigarh chapter, garnered cheers and connected women from different walks of life. Their main concern, to not let go of the opportunity to get more from life.
The biggest strength of SHEROES Community Meets is the congregation of women. But we were pleasantly surprised to find a man among a bunch of women, attentively listening and absorbing the vibe of the meet.
SHEROES' first ever community meet in Chandigarh, was a revelation, as put by our mentor, Monica Majithia. Chandigarh, is not known for having an entriprising population. But, this meet shattered our and their own misconceptions about each other.
Women desperately seek for a platform, where they can be heard without being judged. SHEROES provides them with one. To put out everything on table takes courage, but when you are connected through common synergy, it gets a lot more easier.
The focus of this meet was largely on exploring career options and pursuing their passion. Women were sharing how getting stuck in the rut for years together, has sapped their energy to live life to its fullest. The feeling of exhaustion seems stuck with them, and how they wanted to get back to life with vigour and zeal.
The spotlight was focussed on their careers and work-related issues, but it didn't stop there. Once settled in, they poured their heart out and touched many topics which affects not only their personal but professional lives as well.
