8 Harmless April fool's day pranks to play at work

If you think April fool’s day at work is just another day, you are wrong. It is one day when anything and everything is acceptable. Well, almost everything! Although here is a warning – don’t pull a prank if you think a colleague won’t take it well and be prepared to be on the receiving end. We put together a list of harmless pranks you can play a work –

1) Out of order signs – Put an out of order sign on all restroom doors and watch the havoc happen after that. You can put the same sign on the elevators as well.

2) For the technology challenged – Borrow a colleague’s phone, pretend to step out for a call. Take a screenshot of the home screen, remove all apps from there and set the screenshot as the wallpaper. Later, they are going to keep clicking on the icons that don’t work.

3) Cracked Screen – When a colleague is away from their desk download a high resolution image of a cracked screen and set it as their screensaver. The colleague comes back to a cracked screen.

4) Coffee Machine – Replace the water/milk in the coffee vending machine with diluted tomato ketchup. The co-workers are going to be in for a shock.

5) Hamper the mouse – Put up a piece of paper of tape below the mouse. Whether it is a laser mouse or ball rolling mouse it will stop working.

6) Oreos – Replace the insides of Oreo with toothpaste and keep it near the coffee machine.

7) Desktop Keyboards – Interchange the keys on desktop keyboards, one will barely notice the change until they start typing. Most desktop keyboard keys can be easily removed and put back.

8) Water all over – Take a lot of paper or plastic cups, place them on a co-worker's desk and fill them with water. Then take a stapler and staple them all together. You can also put the cups on the floor blocking their door, or just about anywhere.
