3 Dead and Several Feared Trapped in a Fire in Hotel in China
On Saturday morning, a massive fire broke out in a luxury hotel in Nanchang, capital of East China’s Jiangxi province. According to People’s Daily China, three people have died and 14 have been injured. Several others are still feared trapped.
According to Xinhua News agency, the fire was spotted on the second floor of the HNA Platinum Mix Hotel at about 8 am, where over 10 construction workers were employed on a decoration project.
The hotel is a four-storied building and is joined with a 24-story apartment building, where people are also reportedly trapped. Further details are awaited.
