Why Shame Emma Watson, Sonam Kapoor for Their Cleavage?

Can an underboob threaten feminism? Apparently yes, going by all the furore around Emma Watson's breasts. Watson is being criticised for showing off her boobs in a photo shoot for Vanity Fair (insert expressions for bewilderment) while she claims she is a feminist.

The image from the shoot, photographed by Tim Walker, has Emma posing in a crochet white top that reveals part of her cleavage.

Maturing from Hermione to Belle in @beautyandthebeast is a true coming-of-age story for @EmmaWatson: "I couldn't care less if I won an Oscar or not if the movie didn’t say something that I felt was important for people to hear." Emma Watson has hit back at critics who claimed her recent photo shoot betrayed her feminist ideals.

The 26-year-old Watson has said that the controversy represented "a fundamental and complete misunderstanding of what feminism is." She says, "Feminism is about equality and it's about choice." She adds: "Feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women."

Meanwhile, closer home, Sonam Kapoor was shamed by many for wearing a jumpsuit that again showed her b**bs.

Sonam's response: I felt hot as f*ck! The photogs went out of their way to take these pics... and frankly I don't give a damn, I'm proud of my body!

So here's the thing: You can be a feminist and still show your boobs.

Because women have the freedom to dress whichever the hell way they want to.
