It is aptly said that if you are passionate about something, turn it into your profession and you can easily turn your day job into a dream job! Well, some of the women in the SMS-Magic team have done just that. Taken their passion for technology and used it to carve a career in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Here are some quotes from the women in SMS-Magic team sharing their experience of being in Salesforce:
Jyoti Nimbalkar, Sr. Customer Success Engineer @jyotinimbalkar |
I am very happy to be a part of the Salesforce ecosystem. For me, the most intriguing feature on Salesforce is automation with which I can quickly set things up using point and click tools without writing any code. I spend my spare time earning Trailhead badges or reading about features that I am unfamiliar with. I also enrich my knowledge about Salesforce by participating in different Salesforce groups on Facebook. I particularly enjoy training people, especially sales guys on how to setup reports and dashboard. I love that look on their face – that ‘aha’ moment, when they grasp a concept they’ve been struggling with and realise they can do it!
If someone asks me for career advice, I would certainly recommend them to go for a career in Salesforce.
Swati Sharma, Salesforce Admin @swati300990 |
What draws me to technology is that it is always fresh. With every release, Salesforce provides new learnings, new certifications and new modules. The change is extremely rapid and I particularly enjoy this fast pace. In many technologies, you reach a saturation point after a certain stage. But Salesforce is evolving every day.
I also follow blogs of influencers like Salesforce MVP David Liu. With his enriching tutorials and assignments, he is inspiring the next generation of Salesforce developers. Following such trailblazers, I most certainly feel that this is the domain where I can make a mark!
Pragya Sahu, QA Specialist @pragyasahu1991 |
I feel great that I am a part of a technology that has such a vast scope in terms of industries it covers and customers it reaches. I am inspired by women MVPs in Salesforce like Geraldine Gray who founded the Girly Geeks community enabling women to connect with each other. I am confident that I will grow and succeed like other women in this ecosystem.
Dipali Shelar, Customer Success Engineer @dipali_shelar |
As part of the customer success team, I am very happy that I am part of an ecosystem which has such a global reach. Sitting at my desk, I can help sales teams across the world in automating their sales cycles. Salesforce is continuously bringing in new features and is providing us with the platforms to learn about them like Trailheads, Seminars, etc. Meetups like WIT are excellent opportunities that help in keeping abreast with the latest features and upgrades in a fun way.
Quotes of these women endorse that Salesforce is one of the Top 13 Companies for Women Technologists!
