The much awaited weekend is here and wit will be gone before you know it. We have a few tricks up our sleeve to make the weekend last longer, slow it all down. Our tricks work the best if you want to recharge yourself, in no mood to plan or just could be working on a financial belt-tightening. So here is our list of simple and easy thing to do this weekend.
Ps- it will do wonders to your productivity.
Declutter- Have you been feeling that you have too much stuff and too little space. Take a good look in your closet and room; is there something you haven’t worn in about over a year? Do you have things that serve no purpose, like a soft toy which can be more useful to a kid you donate it to. Put all this stuff in a box and give it away.
Have a ritual- How many times during the week did you just rush through your meals, skipped or just didn’t bother to enjoy it? Be in no hurry now, look up for some interesting recipes online, make yourself your favorite meal. Ever looked at Nigella Lawson? That is what I am talking about, cook like a goddess in your kitchen this weekend.
Go easy- Have any classics in mind that you could watch over the weekend? Be a couch potato, hire your favorite movies or borrow some books from the local library and spend the day with your favorite music playing for you.
Finish up- Yes, we all have that long list of ‘Things to Do’ that are somehow never getting done. This time before you reach the weekend, have a list of unfinished tasks and make sure you check almost more than half of those. As a kid, we didn’t like finishing our veggies but when we did we felt so proud that we had to tell the whole world and not to forget that it gave us Popeye strength.
Family time-.Do some fun activity together with your family, like making a scrap book of old pictures or any really cool DIY project. If you living away from home then have a long conversation with people back home, make them a gift with your own hands, even a little ugly card would do.
