Nikhil Chinapa to Replace Karan Kundrra in ‘Roadies Rising’

Will slap, get fired. That at least has turned out to be the kismet of Karan Kundrra. The host of reality TV show MTV Roadies Rising has been replaced by DJ Nikhil Chinapa. A video of Kundrra slapping a contestant went viral recently, following which an announcement of Chinapa being the new host was made.

According to PTI however, sources close to the channel denied that the slapping video was the reason behind the replacement.

Drama, tension, verbal abuse and humiliation have always been the main ingredients in every season of the television reality show, MTV Roadies. The show is all set to come back with their 14th season titled, MTV Roadies Rising and the auditions have begun. It was during one of these auditions that TV actor Karan Kundrra slapped a contestant on camera because he said he had once slapped his sister. Kundraa also got physically aggressive with another contestant and pushed him out of the shooting floor during auditions. Watch the video here:

With the foul-mouthed Raghu Ram no longer on the show and Kundrra’s dadagiri backfiring, would Chinapa be able to get the buzz and the TRPs back? The show will be judged by Rannvijay Singh, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula and Karan Kundrra whilst Harbhajan Singh may make guest appearance.
