How did the idea and inspiration for The Nomadic Spalon come about?
The main idea was to replicate Spa and Salon services in the comfort of one’s own home.
Short salon timings, long working hours, rush and travel time to the spa and salon, prior appointments, makes it difficult for many people to actually pursue the services. Thus The Nomadic Spalon took shape.
The focus is to offer professional and hygenic services in the comfort of your home at flexible hours, suiting your time frames and needs. Our Salonistas are trained at reputed academies and use high quality products. Most importantly, we leave your home absolutely clean when we are done!
Today’s stress has become more persistent because of the accelerating pace of life. What does it take to start a business like this where personalized services are offered as per customer convenience?
A lot of patience and constant vigilance. The Roosters have to be flexible, the transportation for our team of professionals, the security checks – we take care of the smallest details for a perfect execution.
Every appointment has a detailed checklist allotted. We make sure a call goes before and after the appointment so that customer is well taken care of. We do not compromise on quality.
How do you Train or Hire your Spa personnel?
Training is the back bone for spa and salon industry. We hire therapists from well known academies and also train them as per our SOPs. Flexibility, empathy and caring are indispensable qualities we look for in our therapists and salonistas. We hire for personality and train for skill. We look for people who can create magical moments for guests.
What is the most challenging part of managing an entity like this?
The Most Challenging part is to make sure the time frames are met with clients, an eye on pilferage, customer loyalty, security of the staff & manpower retention.

Always ask yourself, ‘Why can’t you?’
