Tell us more about yourself.
I am a complete Delhi - Punjabi girl, born, studied and grew up in this chaotic city. After completing my education in design I started working with a media company as a graphic designer. Within 6 months I realised that working 9-5 is totally not me, and I wanted to do something of my own.

After working as freelance photographer for few years I started with TinyLove Photography that specializes in photo sessions for Newborns, kids, families and expecting parents. What started as a hobby and a way to break away from monotonous job routine has turned into my living now.

What was the inspiration behind taking up photography?
There is one thing that remains the biggest inspiration of my life – making people happy around me. I’ve seen a lot of the world and try to take inspiration from wherever I go, and found that kids always have the best stories to tell. This gave birth to TinyLove Photography that celebrates life and richness of childhood.

And one motivation that keeps me going in my work is an honest smile! The smiles of the parents after seeing the joy of their child, the smile of the mother expecting her child in few weeks, the smile of the father holding the newborn baby for the first time, I feel honored to be able to capture such precious moments for the wonderful families. Also, my photo sessions with children remind me to let loose, take me back to my childhood, the fun free spirited times! With each session I relive my own childhood. And I feel truly blessed for this wonderful experience.

What is work life balance for you?
Prioritising and self management are two things that have helped me achieve the work life balance. Making deliberate choices about which opportunities I should pursue and which I should decline, has helped me sustain the momentum during challenging times. Also, with immense support from family and friends, its going well so far, between erratic shoot hours and work schedule, I still somehow manage to find time to meet friends and spend time with my family. I usually take a 15-20 days break every 6 months to rejuvenate myself.

How do you see TinyLove Photography growing?
As of now, our services are only available in Delhi/NCR regions as outstation shoots adds up to extra travel expenses for the clients, I plan to train photographers in major metro cities and expand our services all over the country.

A message to all SHEROES out there.
Do not give up! Follow your heart and passion. If you believe in yourself and your dreams the world will follow you.
