The Indian bowlers bowled with a lot of intent on day two of the second Test between India and Australia at Bengaluru on Sunday.

They constantly put pressure on the Australians throughout the day, but the visitors still managed to eke out a 48-run lead at the end of day’s play.

Matt Renshaw and Shaun Marsh’s gritty fifties helped Australia post 237/6 until the close of play.

India’s premier off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who has bowled a total of 41 overs in the match so far, surpassed Anil Kumble’s record for the most deliveries bowled in a Test cricket season on Sunday.
