A 20-year-old student of Lady Sri Ram College, Gurmehar Kaur, who had initiated a campaign against ABVP following their violent actions at Ramjas College, has formally withdrawn from the protest, after facing rape threats by ABVP supporters and harassment from well-known celebrities.
In a series of tweets she sarcastically congratulated those who had been harassing her to the point of successfully ensuring that she distances herself from the campaign.
I'm withdrawing from the campaign. Congratulations everyone. I request to be left alone. I said what I had to say.. (1/2)
