Nreach Online Services, which owns the brands Giftxoxo and Frogo, has acquired Yipeedo, a start up focused on helping city dwellers discover and book leisure activities.
The founders of the 15-month old Yipeedo, Shalini Nautiyal and Dhiraj Kathuria would bring their software product development experience to the Frogo team and spearhead the product together with the Giftxoxo founders.
Yipeedo, conceived to help city dwellers discover leisure time activities, saw a successful beta web launch in mid 2014.
Co-founded by Shalini Nautiyal and Dhiraj Kathuria, Yipeedo was a member of the 3rd batch of NASSCOM 10,000 Startups and a Season 7 graduate of VentureNursery, India’s first angel backed accelerator.
“During our acceleration program at VentureNursery, we benefitted tremendously from its mentor network and transformed Yipeedo into a mobile-only product,” says co-founder and CEO Shalini Nautiyal.
Yipeedo helps manage multiple activities into an experience that is personalized to meet a user's lifestyle choices and preferences.
A partnership between two start-ups--Frogo and Yipeedo—to provide exclusive experiences via Yipeedo led to an instant connect between the founders of the two companies. As the partnership between the two start-ups grew they realised that joining hands and minds to address this customer need together would lead to greater synergies.
Gifxoxo was founded by, Sumit Khandelwal, Manoj Agarwal, Kushal Aggarwal and Abhishek Kumar in 2012.

The financial details of the transaction were not made public citing confidentiality.
