I began my career in sales and distribution at Vodafone, since sales is a male dominated vertical in general, I was the only girl in the team. But honestly it was a level playing field. You get kudos when you perform well, you get the stick when you don't. Being a girl only saves you from expletives, nothing more! When you build a business from scratch, there are challenges everyday. I try not to fret about it and focus on the solutions. I travel to the hills and disconnect. My time there is usually spent indulging in outdoor sports/adventure and some amount of reading.”
